In-home lessons are the River Oaks starting point for many families: a trainer at your door for $220 a session, working the actual walk on your street, the actual patio you go to on Saturday, and the actual front door the deliveries come through. Four to six lessons handle most manners problems in a dog that already has some structure.
A dog that needs a reset takes a board and train stay in the training home in Cypress, about 40 minutes up 610 and 290. Most River Oaks families add the $250 transport so we collect and return the dog and run the go-home session in your home, where the elevator, the gate and the guests actually are. Updates come every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

The River Oaks call is usually a lovely dog that embarrasses its family: the doodle that lunges at the table next door on West Gray, the Cavalier that barks at every delivery through the gate, the Lab that greets dinner guests with its whole body. There is no aggression in it, only a dog that has never been asked to be still and has been rewarded, by attention, for every bit of noise.
Place is the answer to most of it: a dog that can hold a bed for an hour while the household entertains has an off switch, and everything else is handling. The structured walk handles the sidewalk, and door manners handle the gate. We install those in a stay and teach you to keep them in the go-home session and the lessons after.

In-home lessons are $220 per session. Gold is two weeks for $2,500 and installs place, the walk, doors and impulse control. Platinum is three weeks for $3,750, adds behavior modification and field trips and comes with unlimited private lessons afterwards. VIP is six weeks for $10,000 with off-leash reliability and the in-home handover included. The Puppy Development Bundle is $750 in your home.
