Vaccinations
Current vaccination records at drop-off.
Every dog that stays with us arrives with current vaccination records, because it lives in our trainer’s own house alongside a small group of other client dogs and trains in public places around Cypress and northwest Houston. Rabies vaccination is required by law for dogs in Harris County and the City of Houston. Ask your veterinarian to confirm the core series is current and to advise on bordetella before the stay.
Does my dog need vaccines for board and train?
Age
Board and train from about four to five months; the puppy bundle before that.
A puppy under four months belongs in the Puppy Development Bundle, four private sessions for $550 in Cypress or $750 in your home, because at that age the household needs the training more than the puppy does. Board and train starts once a puppy can hold a routine for a full day. There is no upper age limit; adult and senior dogs do well with a program adjusted to them.

What to bring
Food, medications, records, a flat collar and a six-foot leash.
Send your dog’s regular food measured for the stay plus a few extra days, any medications with written instructions, a copy of the vaccination records, a flat collar with an ID tag and a standard six-foot leash. Leave the retractable leash and most of the toys at home; beds, toys and treats are provided. Our team confirms the exact list when you reserve, and you do not need to buy training equipment in advance.

The reservation deposit
A $250 deposit holds your start date and comes off the program price.
The training home takes only a limited number of dogs at once, so a start date is a real slot. After the free consultation, once our team has agreed the program fits your dog, the $250 reservation deposit is paid through the Reserve Your Spot link (secure checkout by GoDaddy Payments) and is applied toward your total program cost. Our team confirms your dates, what to bring and the balance timing by phone or text once it is in; the balance is usually settled at drop-off.

Changing dates
Call or text as early as you can.
If your plans change, call or text us as early as possible and we will move the reservation where the calendar allows. Spots are limited, so earlier is easier. Ask our team about the deposit and any refund before you pay it, so there is nothing to discover later; every reservation’s terms are confirmed with you by phone or text.

Updates and visits
Photos and video every Monday, Wednesday and Friday; visits are discouraged.
You see the progress as it happens through professional photo and video updates three times a week, and a quick text gets a quick reply in between. Mid-program visits are generally discouraged because they reset the dog and often cost days of progress; our team discusses any exception case by case on the consultation call rather than applying a blanket rule.

Early pickup
Your dog, your call; ring first so we can run a proper go-home session.
You can collect your dog whenever you choose. Call our team first so we can set up a go-home session instead of a handoff at the door, and ask for an honest read on where the dog is, because the back half of a program is where new habits get proofed in public and where a reactive or anxious dog does most of the changing.
Can I pick my dog up early?
Illness or injury
We call you first, then act.
Because your dog lives in our trainer’s home, a change in appetite, stool or energy is noticed the same day. Anything beyond a mild upset stomach means a vet visit, using your own vet where possible and the nearest clinic in an emergency. At drop-off we take your vet’s details, an emergency contact and your consent for treatment.

Who trains your dog
One trainer, from drop-off to the handover, in a home.
Dogs live in our trainer’s own house in Cypress, not a kennel, and each one is worked individually through the day. We do not run a fixed headcount; how many dogs are in the house depends on the mix already there, which is why dates are reserved with a deposit. The same trainer who takes your dog on day one hands you the leash at the go-home session.

Transportation and the go-home session
$250 door to door, included in VIP; the go-home session is where the dog goes home.
The $250 transportation service collects your dog at your door, returns it at the end of the program and includes the first lesson in your home. It is included in the six-week VIP program. For drop-off families the go-home session happens at the training home in Cypress; for transport families and every VIP graduate it happens at your house.
