Board and train in the Memorial Villages: Hunters Creek to Hedwig, acreage inside the loop
Hunters Creek, Piney Point, Bunker Hill, Hedwig and Hilshire are acreage inside the loop: gates, long driveways, pools, staff, deliveries all day and Buffalo Bayou behind the back fence. A village stay is built for the property, and the transport brings the handover to the gate.

The stay, from the villages
Half an hour to Cypress, or the transport with the handover at the gate, staff included.
Most village families take the $250 transport: we collect the dog at the gate, it lives and trains in our home in Cypress for two to six weeks, and we bring it back for a go-home session that covers the gate, the driveway, the pool, the front door and the bayou trail behind the house, with the housekeeper and anyone else who handles the dog present, because the rules only hold if every hand holds them. Drop-off in Cypress is about half an hour for families who prefer the drive. Your dog is part of our household during the stay, crated at night and trained daily in the house and on field trips, with photos and a note on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
The last field trips for a village Platinum dog use the Buffalo Bayou trails and Memorial Park, so the bayou has been met on a leash before the family walks it.

What a village dog learns
The gate, the driveway, the pool, the guests and the bayou.
The village Doberman or shepherd guards a gate that opens forty times a week and has decided the landscapers are intruders. The Lab launches into the pool at every party and cannot be called out. The doodle drags the family down the bayou trail and lunges at every dog. The golden greets dinner guests with its whole body. Platinum builds a calm gate for staff, guests and deliveries, a boundary at the driveway without a fence, a wait at the pool edge and a recall out of the water built at the lake near Cypress, a loose leash on the bayou trail and a settle through a dinner party, with unlimited lessons afterwards on the property. VIP finishes the dog off leash across the lot with the Mini-Educator. Gold covers the manners for a dog whose problems are the door and the leash.

Village specifics
Buffalo Bayou behind the fence, the staff, the deliveries and a hot driveway.
Buffalo Bayou runs behind the villages and holds alligators in the warm months; the leash stays on near the water and the boundary at the back fence is worked in every village stay. Household staff are included in the handover and the follow-up lessons, so the housekeeper, the landscaper who opens the gate and the family all hold the same rules. Deliveries come all day and the gate routine is built with real arrivals. The long driveways are hot enough to burn pads by mid-morning from May to September, and the pavement test and the early walk are part of the summer routine. Memorial Park and Terry Hershey are where the trail work and the summer go-home sessions go.
- Leashed near the bayou, always
- Staff included in the handover and lessons
- Gate work with real deliveries
- The pavement test on the driveway in summer

Asked and answered
Questions people ask about this.
How does a stay work from the villages?
For two to six weeks your dog is part of our household in Cypress. Most village families take the $250 transport so we collect the dog at the gate, return it and run the go-home session at the gate, the pool and the door with the staff present; drop-off in Cypress is about half an hour for families who prefer it.
Can you train our dog to accept the landscapers and the housekeeper?
Yes. A calm gate for staff, guests and deliveries is door work with real arrivals, structure the dog can rely on and neutrality to strangers built at a distance. The handover includes everyone who handles the dog so the rules hold in every hand.
Can you teach our dog to stay out of the pool until released?
Yes. A wait at the edge and a recall out of the water are built at the lake near the training home on a long line during a Platinum or VIP stay and transferred to your pool at the go-home session.
Which program keeps a dog on our lot without a fence at the front?
VIP. A boundary at the driveway is taught with a long line and a clear edge in Platinum and proofed with the Mini-Educator in VIP for reliability when a dog walks past the gate. Reliability at the gate survives only with the follow-up lessons, and VIP includes them.
