Board and train, Energy Corridor

Board and train in Energy Corridor: Terry Hershey trails and corporate schedules

The Energy Corridor runs on travel schedules, and the smartest stays we run are timed to them: the dog goes to us the day the trip starts and comes home trained the week it ends. The transport handles both ends, and Terry Hershey is where the handover happens.

The stay, from the Energy Corridor

Time the stay to the trip, and let the transport handle both ends.

Energy Corridor families travel for work, and a stay timed to a trip solves two problems at once: the dog is not alone or in a kennel while you are away, and it comes home trained the week you are back. The $250 transport collects the dog the day you leave and returns it after you land, with the go-home session in your home and on Terry Hershey. Drop-off in Cypress is a half-hour drive for families who prefer it. The dog lives with us as part of the household for the stay, crated at night, trained every day at home and on field trips, and the updates on Monday, Wednesday and Friday reach you wherever you are.

The last field trips for an Energy Corridor Platinum dog run down I-10 to the bayou trail and a CityCentre patio, so the family's own environment has been met before the handover.

What an Energy Corridor dog learns

An off switch for the week, neutrality on the bayou trail and a settle at CityCentre.

The Energy Corridor dog is alone nine hours a day and then gets a weekend of everything at once: Terry Hershey with the bikes, a CityCentre patio, guests, the dog park. It cannot settle at home, lunges at bikes on the bayou trail, barks at the townhome hallway and, in a growing number of cases, panics when left. Gold installs place with real duration, the structured walk, door manners and impulse control, and teaches the family a weekday routine that tires the dog's mind. Platinum handles the bike lunger and the fearful dog with daily structure and exposure at distance, with unlimited lessons afterwards on the trail. Separation anxiety is worked with a plan for the weekdays, not just the stay, and our team will say on the free call whether a stay is the right first step for it.

  • Place for an hour while you work from home
  • A loose leash on Terry Hershey past bikes and runners
  • A settle under a CityCentre patio table
  • Calm in a townhome hallway and elevator

Programs and prices

Gold or Platinum timed to travel; the transport is worth it here.

Gold at $2,500 is $2,750 door to door with the transport and Platinum at $3,750 is $4,000, with unlimited lessons afterwards on Platinum. VIP at $10,000 has the transport at both ends and the handover at home built in. The dates are held with $250 that is credited to the program, and the pricing page carries every number. When the stay is timed to a trip, the transport is what makes the timing work.

Energy Corridor specifics

Terry Hershey, the bayou, the townhome and the hurricane trip.

Terry Hershey Park is the neighborhood's trail and its exam: bikes at speed, runners, dogs, and the bayou beside it with alligators in the warm months, so the leash stays on near the water. The townhomes and apartments near the office parks have elevators, hallways and shared walls, and the handover for those dogs is run in the building. Many Energy Corridor families relocate internationally and the crate and the car are built in for the move. Hurricane season overlaps travel season, and a dog whose family is out of the country during a storm needs a plan, which our team will help with on the free call. Summer trail work is early and late.

  • Leashed on the bayou trail, always
  • The elevator and the hallway for townhome dogs
  • Crate and car calm for a relocation
  • A storm plan when the family travels

Asked and answered

Questions people ask about this.

Can we time the stay to a work trip?

Yes, and it is the smartest way to do it. The $250 transport collects the dog the day you leave and returns it after you land, with the go-home session at home. Book early, because trip dates and program dates have to line up.

How far is the Energy Corridor from the training home?

About 25 to 35 minutes to Cypress via the Beltway and 290, or Highway 6 and 290, outside rush hour. Drop-off is easy; the transport is what makes a stay timed to travel work.

Our dog is alone all day and wild all weekend. Which program?

Gold, usually: place with real duration, a structured walk and a weekday routine that tires the dog's mind. Platinum if the dog also lunges on Terry Hershey or is fearful. Our team will say which on the free call.

Does a stay fix separation anxiety?

A stay builds crate calm, place and structure, which are the foundation, but separation anxiety is worked with a plan for the weekdays at home. Our team will tell you honestly on the call whether a stay is the right first step or lessons at home are.
