Board and train, Cinco Ranch
Board and train in Cinco Ranch: Katy's biggest master-planned community
Cinco Ranch is thousands of homes, miles of trails, a pool in every section and a dog behind most doors, and the dogs we see from it have too much energy for a house that is empty from eight to three. The stay gives that dog a job, and the handover on the Cinco trails shows the family how to keep it.

The stay, from Cinco Ranch
Half an hour up 99, or the transport with the handover on the Cinco trails.
Grand Parkway makes Cinco Ranch to Cypress a straightforward half hour, and families split between dropping off and taking the $250 transport for a go-home session on their own street, at the pool gate and on the trail past the neighbors' dogs. Your dog joins our household for the stay, sleeps in a crate in the home and works every day in the house and out on field trips; updates come Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
The last field trips for a Cinco Platinum dog head back toward Katy: the Cinco trails at a quiet hour, the stores off I-10, a LaCenterra patio, so the family's own environment has been met before the handover.

What a Cinco Ranch dog learns
The trail, the window, the school-bus greeting and the pool gate.
The Cinco Ranch dog is a family dog with nothing to do until three: by ten months it pulls toward every dog on the trails, barks at the window all day, jumps on the kids at the door and treats the pool as its own. The shepherds and Dobermans in the newer sections add guarding at the front door and lunging on the trails. Gold installs place, the calm greeting, the structured walk and impulse control. Platinum adds the behavior work for the guarders and the lungers, neutrality built at a distance on real trails, and unlimited lessons afterwards so every family member learns the handling. The pool rule is built at the lake near Cypress and transferred at your pool.
- A loose leash on the Cinco trails past other dogs and strollers
- Quiet at the window during delivery hours
- A calm greeting when the bus stops
- A wait at the pool gate and a recall out of the water

Cinco Ranch specifics
HOA rules, community lakes, Millie Bush and a long hot summer.
Cinco Ranch's sections enforce barking and leash rules, so the quiet cue and the structured walk are part of every Cinco stay. The community lakes have rules against swimming and can hold an alligator in the warm months, so water manners are built at the lake near the training home and transferred to your pool. Millie Bush Bark Park is the off-leash park Cinco families use, and a Platinum graduate's first visit is a walk of the fence line on a leash. Summer is long and the trails have little shade; the stay runs on the dawn-and-dusk schedule with the I-10 store aisles at noon.
- Quiet cue and structured walk for the HOA
- Community lakes for the long line, not swimming
- Millie Bush only after the recall exists
- Dawn and dusk trails in summer

Asked and answered
Questions people ask about this.
Do you pick up in Cinco Ranch?
Yes, anywhere in Cinco Ranch, Grand Lakes, Seven Meadows or Cross Creek Ranch, for $250 both trips including the first lesson in your home. VIP includes it, and the go-home session for transport families happens on your own trail.
How long is the drive from Cinco Ranch to the training home?
About 25 to 35 minutes up Grand Parkway outside rush hour. Many families drop off themselves; the transport is there if you want the handover at your house and pool gate.
Can you help a dog that barks all day while we are at work?
Yes. Window barking is structure and management: no free access to the window, place with duration through deliveries, a quiet cue and a routine that tires the dog's mind before you leave. It is built in a Gold or Platinum stay and kept at home.
What do you do with a shepherd that guards our front door?
Platinum. Door work with real deliveries and guests, neutrality to strangers at a distance, structure the dog can rely on, and unlimited lessons afterwards so every adult runs the door the same way.
