Katy sends us more dogs than any community except Cypress: family dogs from master-planned sections with too much energy, a pool in the yard and a dog every fifty yards on the trail. The stay is built for exactly that dog, and Katy is close enough that the handover often happens on the family's own trail.

Katy is close enough that families split evenly: half drop off in Cypress, half take the $250 pickup and return so the go-home session happens on their own street. The dog leaves with its food, medications and records, spends day one settling into the crate and the house, and from day two trains daily in the home and on field trips around Cypress. Photo and video updates arrive Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and the last field trips for a Katy dog often come back toward Katy: the Cinco trails, the stores off I-10, a LaCenterra patio.
The go-home session teaches the family the handling: the walk on the sidewalk past the neighbors' dogs, place at the front door, a wait at the pool gate, and what to do when the dog tests it.

What a Katy dog learns
The trail, the pool gate, the window and the school run.
The Katy dog we see is a Lab, golden or doodle with a big yard and a house that empties from eight to three, and by a year it pulls toward every dog on the Cinco trails, barks at the window all day, jumps on the kids at the door and treats the community pool as its own. Gold covers the manners in two weeks. Platinum handles the shepherd that guards the door and the doodle that has started lunging on the trail, with neutrality built at a distance, field trips and unlimited lessons afterwards. The go-home session includes the children, because they are the ones who come through the door at three.

Programs and prices
Gold or Platinum, and the transport as the common add-on.
Katy families split between Gold at $2,500 and Platinum at $3,750 depending on whether the dog is merely wild or has started guarding or lunging; with the $250 transport, Gold is $2,750 door to door and Platinum $4,000. VIP at $10,000 includes the transport and produces the finished off-leash dog. The $250 deposit holds the dates and comes off the program price.

Katy specifics
Flat, hot, watery and full of dogs.
Katy's trails have little shade, so a summer stay's outdoor work is at dawn and dusk and the stores off I-10 carry the afternoons; the dog you pick up in August has been proofed in the heat. The community lakes are not for swimming, and water manners are built at the lake near the training home and transferred to your pool at the go-home session. Cinco Ranch and the other sections enforce barking and leash rules, so the quiet cue and the structured walk are part of every Katy stay. Millie Bush Bark Park is the off-leash park Katy uses, and a Platinum graduate's first visit there is a walk of the fence line on a leash.
