Cinco Ranch, Katy
Dog training in Cinco Ranch: Katy's biggest master-planned community
Cinco Ranch is the biggest master-planned community in Katy: thousands of homes, miles of sidewalks and trails, a pool in every section and a dog behind most front doors. The dogs we see from Cinco are family dogs with too much energy for a house that is empty from eight to three.

How it works from Cinco Ranch
Up 99 to Cypress, or the transport with the handover at home.
Grand Parkway makes Cinco Ranch to Cypress a straightforward half hour outside rush hour, so plenty of families drop off and come back for the go-home session in Cypress. The $250 transport is for the families who want the handover on their own street, at their own pool gate and front door, which is where the training has to hold. In-home lessons at $220 are the follow-up and the puppy option.
The dog lives in the training home with our trainers for the whole stay, not in a run, and you see it work in photo and video updates every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
- About 30 minutes up 99 for drop-off
- $250 transport with the in-home handover
- In-home lessons and the $750 puppy bundle
- Updates three times a week
Cinco Ranch dogs
A big house, a big yard and a dog with nothing to do until three.
The Cinco Ranch dog is often a Lab, golden or doodle bought for the children, walked by whichever family member has time, and alone with a yard from the school run to the school pickup. By ten months it pulls, jumps, barks at the window all day and treats the pool as its own. The German shepherds and Dobermans in the newer sections add guarding at the front door and lunging on the trails.
Gold covers the manners set. Platinum adds the behavior work for the guarding and the lunging, field trips on the Cinco trails and unlimited lessons afterwards so every member of the family learns the handling. A dog with structure copes with an empty house; a dog without it invents a job.
- A loose leash on the sidewalks and trails past other dogs
- Quiet at the window during the delivery hours
- Place while the kids come home from school
- A wait at the pool gate and a recall out of the water
Where we train near you
The Cinco trails, LaCenterra and the I-10 stores.
Lessons and go-home sessions in Cinco Ranch use your own section first, then the trails and Exploration Park for loose-leash work past joggers and dogs, the LaCenterra patios for the settle, and the stores on Cinco Ranch Boulevard and I-10 for neutrality around carts and people. During a stay the same skills are built around Cypress and finished on field trips as the dog earns them.
Katy summers are long. From May to September the trail work happens early and late, and the store aisles and the pool carry the afternoons.

Asked and answered
Questions people ask about this.
Do you pick up in Cinco Ranch?
Yes. The $250 transportation service collects your dog anywhere in Cinco Ranch, Grand Lakes, Seven Meadows or Cross Creek Ranch, returns it at the end of the stay and includes the first lesson in your home.
How long is the drive from Cinco Ranch to the training home?
About 25 to 35 minutes up Grand Parkway outside rush hour. Many families drop off themselves; the transport is there if you want the go-home session at your house.
Can you help a dog that barks all day while we are at work?
Yes. Window barking is structure and management: no free access to the window, place with duration through deliveries, a quiet cue, and a routine that tires the dog's mind before you leave. It is built in a Gold or Platinum stay and kept up with lessons at home.
Do you do the puppy bundle in Cinco Ranch homes?
Yes, four in-home sessions for $750 for puppies under four months, covering the crate, the potty routine, the first commands and the greeting rule before the habits set.
