Board and train, Tomball
Board and train in Tomball: acreage, working breeds, a short drive
Tomball is where the suburbs turn into acreage, and the dogs change with the lots: more drive, more land to patrol and more wildlife to chase. Our founder's background with horses is the reason a lot of Tomball families call, and the acreage curriculum is the reason they come back.

The stay, from Tomball
A short drive, or the transport with the handover at the fence line.
Tomball is close enough that most subdivision families drop off in Cypress and return for the go-home session. Acreage families usually take the $250 transport, because the handover on the property, walking the fence line, the barn and the gate with the dog, is the lesson that matters for a dog with land to patrol. The dog lives in the house with our trainers, trains daily in the home, in open fields and on field trips, and the updates arrive Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
For a working breed the stay is built around drive: engagement, a structured heel, place with real duration, an outlet with rules, and a recall on a long line before anything is trusted loose.

What a Tomball dog learns
Boundaries, calm around livestock, a recall past the deer and a greeting at the gate.
The acreage dog we see from Tomball has hired itself: it harasses the horses, chases deer to the road, barks at the tree line all night and treats the feed delivery as an intruder. The subdivision dog along 249 has the standard suburban set, pulling, jumping and window barking. Platinum builds boundaries without a physical fence, neutrality to horses, cattle and barn cats, a recall around wildlife on a long line and a calm greeting at the gate, with unlimited lessons afterwards. VIP finishes the recall and the boundaries off leash with the Mini-Educator, walked across your own property at the handover. Gold covers the subdivision manners.

Tomball specifics
Heat on open land, coyotes at dusk and the barn.
Open acreage in summer is brutal, and a working breed will run itself into heat stroke, so the field work runs at dawn and dusk from May to September with water every fifteen minutes and a hard stop. Coyotes are common on Tomball acreage and will lead a chasing dog away and turn on it; the recall is built for that before any freedom. Horses are part of the curriculum, and calm around them is exposure at a distance the dog can hold, closer over days, the way our founder learned it. Kleb Woods and Burroughs Park are the leashed trails where the walk is proofed, and the Old Town patios are the settle.

Asked and answered
Questions people ask about this.
Do you pick up on acreage in Tomball?
Yes. The $250 transportation service collects your dog at your gate anywhere in Tomball, Hockley or Magnolia, returns it at the end of the stay and includes the first lesson on your property. VIP includes it.
Can you teach my dog to stay on the property without a fence?
Boundaries are taught with a long line and a clear edge, then proofed with the Mini-Educator in the VIP program for a dog that will be loose on the land. It takes weeks, and it holds only with the follow-up lessons VIP includes.
My dog harasses the horses. Is that trainable?
Yes. Calm around livestock is built the same way as any neutrality, structure first and then the animals at a distance the dog can manage, closing over days. Our founder grew up training horses, and the barn is part of the curriculum.
How far is Tomball from the training home?
About 20 to 30 minutes to Cypress via 2920 or 249 outside rush hour. Subdivision families usually drop off; acreage families take the transport for the handover at the fence line.
