Board and train in Richmond: Aliana, Harvest Green and the Brazos
Richmond is Fort Bend's fast-growing edge: new neighborhoods, young families, a first dog in most houses and the Brazos trails a short drive away. The stay for a Richmond dog is built around a strong dog in a busy house, and the transport brings the handover to the house.

The stay, from Richmond
Grand Parkway to Cypress, or the transport with the handover in Aliana.
Richmond to Cypress is Grand Parkway most of the way and close to an hour with traffic, so the $250 transport is the Richmond default: we collect the dog at your door, the drive is its first field trip, and at the end of the stay we bring it home and run the go-home session in your living room, at your door and on your street. Drop-off families do the handover in Cypress. Between the drives the dog is a member of our household, crated at night and trained every day, with photos and notes on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
The handover in a Richmond home includes the children, because the dog that drags the teenager and jumps on the toddler has to answer to both.

What a Richmond dog learns
A walk every family member can hold, quiet on a construction street, place through the school run and the pool gate.
The Richmond dog is a Lab or shepherd bought when the family moved into the new house, and now it is eighty pounds, drags the teenager down the sidewalk, jumps on the toddler, barks at every truck on a street full of construction and treats the community pool as a right. Some are rescues from the Fort Bend shelter with a fear layer. Gold installs the manners in two weeks. Platinum handles the fearful rescue and the dog that lunges on the trails, with field trips and unlimited lessons afterwards so the whole family learns the handling. The wait at the pool edge is built at the lake near Cypress and handed over at your community pool.
- A loose leash for every family member, not just the strongest
- Quiet at the window on a construction street
- Place through the school-run chaos
- A wait at the pool gate and a recall out of the water

Richmond specifics
The Brazos, the new-build street and the Fort Bend shelter.
The Brazos River trails have alligators and snakes from spring, so the leash stays on near the water and leave-it is worked hard; recall on a long line at George Park is where the Brazos gets practiced safely. New-build streets have construction traffic all day, which is the window barker's rehearsal and the place command's practice. Fort Bend shelter rescues get their first month of decompression before a stay, which our team will say on the free call. Summer is the standard Houston summer, and the stay runs on the dawn-and-dusk schedule with the store aisles at noon.
- Leashed near the Brazos; leave-it worked hard
- Construction traffic as place practice
- Rescues decompress for a month first
- Dawn and dusk outdoors in summer

Asked and answered
Questions people ask about this.
Do you pick up in Richmond and Aliana?
Yes, anywhere in Richmond, Aliana, Harvest Green, Long Meadow Farms or Rosenberg, for $250 both trips including the first lesson in your home. VIP includes it.
How far is Richmond from the training home?
Roughly 45 to 55 minutes up Grand Parkway to Cypress outside rush hour. It is far enough that the pickup makes sense, and the go-home session at home is the better lesson anyway.
Can you help a shelter rescue that is scared of everything?
Yes. Fearful dogs need structure first and then calm exposure at distances they can hold, never flooding. Platinum does that daily for three weeks and includes unlimited lessons afterwards so the confidence keeps building on your own street.
Which program for a big dog that drags the kids?
Gold, unless the dog is also lunging at other dogs, in which case Platinum. Both install a structured walk and both end with a handover where every family member learns to hold the leash the same way.
