Dog training in Richmond: Aliana, Harvest Green and the Brazos
Richmond is Fort Bend's fast-growing edge: new neighborhoods, young families, a first dog in most of them and the Brazos trails a short drive away. The problems we hear about from Aliana and Harvest Green are the problems of a busy family with a strong dog and not enough structure.

How it works from Richmond
Grand Parkway to Cypress, or let the transport bring the handover to Aliana.
Richmond to Cypress is Grand Parkway most of the way and close to an hour with traffic, which is why the $250 transport is the Richmond default: we collect the dog at your door, the drive is its first field trip, and at the end of the stay we bring it home and run the go-home session in your living room and on your street. Drop-off families do the handover in Cypress.
In-home lessons at $220 cover the follow-up and the puppies, and the whole stay comes with photo and video updates on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
- $250 pickup, return and the first lesson at home
- Transport included in VIP
- In-home lessons and the $750 puppy bundle
- Updates three times a week
Richmond dogs
Young families, new houses and a strong dog that runs the show.
The Richmond call is a dog bought when the family moved into the new house: a Lab or shepherd that is now eighty pounds and drags the teenager down the sidewalk, jumps on the toddler, barks at the window at every truck on a street full of construction, and treats the community pool as a personal right. Some are rescues from the Fort Bend shelter with a fear layer on top.
Gold installs the manners in two weeks. Platinum handles the fearful rescue and the dog that has started lunging on the trails, with field trips and unlimited lessons afterwards so the whole family learns the handling. Puppies under four months take the bundle at home, which is where the crate, the potty routine and the greeting rule are easiest to set.
- A loose leash for every family member, not just the strongest
- Place through the school-run chaos
- Quiet at the window on a construction street
- A wait at the pool gate and a recall out of the water
Where we train near you
The Aliana trails, George Park and the Brazos.
Lessons and go-home sessions in Richmond use your own section first, then the Aliana and Harvest Green trails for loose-leash work past strollers and dogs, George Park and the Brazos River trails for recall on a long line, and the stores on Grand Parkway and Highway 90 for neutrality. While the dog is with us, those skills are built around Cypress and tested on field trips that get harder as the dog earns them.
The Brazos trails have alligators and snakes from spring, so the leash stays on near the water and leave-it is worked hard; Richmond summers move everything to dawn, dusk and the store aisles.

Asked and answered
Questions people ask about this.
Do you pick up in Richmond and Aliana?
Yes. The $250 transportation service collects your dog anywhere in Richmond, Aliana, Harvest Green, Long Meadow Farms or Rosenberg, returns it at the end of the stay and includes the first lesson in your home.
How far is Richmond from the training home?
Roughly 45 to 55 minutes up Grand Parkway to Cypress outside rush hour; closer to an hour at school-run times. It is far enough that most families take the pickup, and the go-home session at home is the better lesson anyway.
Can you help a shelter rescue that is scared of everything?
Yes. Fearful dogs need structure first and then calm exposure at distances they can hold, never flooding. Platinum does that daily for three weeks in a home and includes unlimited lessons afterwards so the confidence keeps building on your own street.
Which program for a big dog that drags the kids?
Gold, unless the dog is also lunging at other dogs, in which case Platinum. Both install a structured walk and both end with a handover where every family member learns to hold the leash the same way.
