Puppy training in Klein: the 2920 corridor, four sessions at home
Klein is close enough to Cypress that both bundle prices are a real choice, and the neighborhoods along 2920 are built for a puppy: sidewalks to every pool, a trail behind most sections and a dog at half the front doors. The sessions at home are about your crate, your yard and your kids; the sessions in Cypress are about a puppy that learns to work anywhere.

The four sessions
Four sessions along the 2920 corridor, at your kitchen table or ours.
In Klein the first choice is where. At $750 our trainer comes to your house in the puppy's first week, sets the crate in the family room, chooses the potty spot, teaches the marker word and writes the nipping plan with the children in the room. At $550 you bring the puppy to our Cypress home, about 20 to 30 minutes down 2920, and the same session happens in a house it has never seen, which is its own kind of lesson.
Either way the four visits are spaced about a week apart and each runs 45 to 60 minutes with breaks. Sit and the place bed come next, then a recall down the hallway, then a stay with duration and a leash on a sidewalk once the vet has cleared the ground. The fourth visit is a review in a new place and the plan for the adolescent months, when a Gleannloch golden discovers it can pull.
Session one, in the first week: the crate, the potty spot, the marker word, handling, and the nipping plan with the kids present.
Session two: sit, the place bed by the back door, recall down the hallway, and jumping addressed at the front door.
Session three: a stay with a few seconds of duration, recall on a long line in the yard, and the leash on a neighborhood sidewalk.
Session four: the same work at Meyer Park or a Vintage Park patio, and the plan for months four to twelve.

Raising a Klein puppy
Heat by the calendar, the parks from a bench, and an HOA that has opinions.
From May through September a Klein puppy goes out before nine and after seven, with potty trips on shaded grass and the pavement tested with the back of your hand before any sidewalk time. Fire ants come up in a sodded yard after every rain, so check the potty spot before the puppy uses it.
Until the vet signs off on the vaccine series, usually around sixteen weeks, the puppy's paws stay off ground that unknown dogs use. Klein makes the waiting easy: the Vintage Park patios from a mat under your chair, the pet and hardware stores on 249 and Louetta from a cart, Meyer Park from a bench in your lap while dogs, bikes and kids go past. Pundt Park's trails and the Gleannloch greenbelts wait for the vet's clearance, then start on a long line at a quiet hour.
The housing is established master-planned: HOA rules about barking and fences, sidewalks everywhere, a community pool and a lot of Labs, goldens and doodles walking at dusk. A puppy that learns to greet a neighbor's dog with four feet on the ground, from a distance, is the puppy the HOA never writes to. Read the pet rules now rather than after the first letter.

Prices
Both Klein prices, and how to choose between them.
The bundle is $750 at your Klein home or $550 at our Cypress training home, and Klein families genuinely split between the two. Choose the in-home version when the plan depends on the house: a toddler and a puppy in the same room, a pool gate, a crate that has to live somewhere specific. Choose Cypress when the concern is the puppy itself, its nipping, its recall, its confidence, because the drive is short and a new house each visit is good exposure.
After four months the same work continues as private lessons at $160 in Cypress or $220 at your home. A board and train stay is reserved with a $250 deposit; the $250 transport with the first lesson at your house is available but most Klein families drop off. There is nothing else to pay for.

Bundle or a stay
The bundle for the first four months; Gold at four to five months if the manners slip.
A puppy under four months does not go to board and train; it learns in minutes and needs its family for the rest of the day. That changes at about four to five months, when the puppy can hold structure through a whole day, and a Gold stay at our Cypress home becomes an option: two weeks at $2,500 for sit and stay, place and stay, the loose leash, door boundaries and impulse control, with the go-home session, an extra lesson and lifelong support.
Most Klein families who finish the bundle do not need a stay at all, because the foundation holds and lessons fill the gaps. The ones who do are usually raising a big adolescent, a shepherd or a golden, that has outgrown a child's arm on the sidewalk, and Gold resets that in two weeks. Klein is close enough that drop-off and the go-home session in Cypress are the norm.

Asked and answered
Questions people ask about this.
Is Klein close enough that the $550 Cypress price makes sense?
Yes. Gleannloch Farms and Champion Forest are about 20 to 30 minutes from our training home outside rush hour, and a puppy handles that drive well between naps. The $550 version suits a family whose questions are about the puppy; the $750 in-home version suits a family whose questions are about the house, the pool or the kids.
When can the puppy walk on the Gleannloch Farms trails?
After your veterinarian confirms the vaccine series is complete, usually around sixteen weeks. Until then the trails are for watching from your arms. Once cleared, start on a long line at a quiet hour, keep the first walks short, and reward every glance back at you; the trails are full of golf carts, bikes and other dogs, and each one is a lesson.
Our HOA is strict about barking. Can a puppy learn quiet?
A puppy can learn that the window is not its job and that the crate is where it settles, which stops most of the barking an HOA hears. The bundle sets both up early: the place bed away from the front window, the crate as a bedroom, and a routine that leaves the puppy tired rather than bored. Adolescent barking is a lessons problem later.
Does the bundle include the kids?
It is built around them. Children learn how to pick the puppy up, what to do when it nips, and that a sit comes before every greeting. A child old enough to hold a leash walks the puppy in session three with the trainer beside them. The rules the kids learn are the rules the puppy keeps.

The free phone consultation is a direct call with our team: the breed, the arrival date, the neighborhood and whether you would rather host the sessions or drive to Cypress. A Klein puppy under four months gets its first session that week; an older puppy is pointed to lessons or a Gold stay, reserved with a $250 deposit.
