Dog training in Klein: Gleannloch Farms and Champion Forest, 20 minutes away
Klein is the school district and the neighborhoods around it: Gleannloch Farms, Champion Forest, Northampton, Windrose. Established, family-heavy, sidewalks and trails everywhere, and a dog at most front doors. The dogs we see from Klein are excitable family dogs and the occasional shepherd guarding a cul-de-sac.

How it works from Klein
Twenty minutes to Cypress, so drop-off is the default.
Klein is one of the closer communities to the training home, and most families treat a stay the way Cypress families do: drop off in the morning, come back for the go-home session, and book in-home lessons for the follow-up without a long drive on either side. The $250 transport is available for the family that wants the handover in their own living room, and it is included in VIP.
During the stay the dog is one of a limited number living in the house with our trainers, and the Monday, Wednesday and Friday updates show every step.
- About 20 minutes each way for drop-off
- $250 transport if you want the handover at home
- In-home lessons and the $750 puppy bundle
- Updates three times a week
Klein dogs
Family neighborhoods, community pools and a dog that knows the school bell.
The Klein dog is a Lab, golden or doodle in a house that empties at seven and fills at three, and it has learned the schedule: quiet all morning, wild the moment the bus stops on the corner. It jumps on the kids at the door, pulls toward every dog on the Gleannloch trails and treats the community pool as a personal right. The shepherds and Dobermans in the cul-de-sacs add window barking and guarding at the door.
Gold installs place, the calm greeting, the structured walk and impulse control in two weeks. Platinum adds the behavior work for the guarders and the lungers, with field trips on the local trails and unlimited lessons afterwards. The go-home session teaches the children the rules as well as the adults.
The other Klein pattern is the second dog. A family with a settled older dog adds a puppy, and the puppy learns every bad habit the older dog had quietly kept, plus a few of its own. Training the puppy early with the bundle, and giving the older dog a refresher lesson at the same time, keeps the household from doubling its problems.
- A calm greeting when the school bus stops
- A loose leash on the Gleannloch trails past other dogs
- Quiet at the window during delivery hours
- A wait at the pool gate and a recall out of the water
Where we train near you
Meyer Park, the Gleannloch trails and Vintage Park.
Lessons and go-home sessions in Klein use your own street first, then Meyer Park and Pundt Park for loose-leash work and recall on a long line, the Gleannloch Farms trails for neutrality to dogs and bikes, and the Vintage Park patios for the settle. The stores on 249 and Louetta carry the cart-and-crowd neutrality. During the stay, Klein is close enough that some of the field trips come to these very places.
Klein summers are the standard Houston summer: dawn and dusk outdoors from May to September, and the store aisles and the pool for the afternoons.

Asked and answered
Questions people ask about this.
How far is Klein from the training home?
About 20 to 30 minutes to Cypress via 2920 and 249 or Louetta and Grand Parkway outside rush hour. Most Klein families drop off and pick up themselves.
Do you train on the Gleannloch Farms trails?
Yes, for go-home sessions and lessons, and Klein is close enough that some Platinum and VIP field trips use Meyer Park and the local trails during the stay.
Can you help a dog that goes wild when the kids come home?
Yes. That is impulse control and a calm greeting, built with place and a four-paws-on-the-floor rule in a Gold stay, and taught to the children as well as the adults in the go-home session.
Do you do the puppy bundle in Klein homes?
Yes. The in-home bundle is $750 and covers four sessions for a puppy under four months: the crate, potty routine, first commands and the greeting rule, set before bad habits do. The Cypress version is $550.
