Board and train, Champions
Board and train in Champions: Champions and Willowbrook, 20 minutes away
Champions families have owned dogs for decades, and the call usually comes when the new dog turns out to be nothing like the old one: stronger, sharper, more reactive on the greenbelt. The stay resets the dog, and the drive is short enough that the handover in Cypress is the natural choice.

The stay, from Champions
A short drive down 1960, and Willowbrook is already on our store list.
Champions is one of the closest neighborhoods to the training home, so drop-off in Cypress is the pattern: fifteen to twenty-five minutes by 1960 and 290, the dog in with its food and records, and the go-home session at the training home on the last day. The $250 transport brings the handover to your greenbelt and your door for families who want it, and VIP includes it. During the stay your dog lives as part of our household, crated at night and trained every day in the house and out on field trips, and photos and a note come Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
The Willowbrook stores are on our regular field-trip route, so a Champions dog is proofed in its own shopping center before it comes home, and the greenbelts are a short drive for the last field trips of a Platinum stay.

What a Champions dog learns
The greenbelt, the golf course fence, the walk that is not what it used to be.
The Champions dog is often a new dog after an old one: a young Lab or shepherd or a rescue that arrived after fifteen years with a dog that never needed a leash, and the walk on the greenbelt that used to be a pleasure is now a fight past every dog and every golf cart. Some bark through the golf course fence all afternoon. Gold installs the structured walk, place, door manners and impulse control in two weeks and hands the family a walk they recognize. Platinum handles the reactive dog and the fearful rescue with daily structure and exposure at distance on real paths, with unlimited lessons afterwards on your own greenbelt. VIP produces the dog that walks the greenbelt loose where the rules allow.
- A loose leash on the greenbelt past dogs and golf carts
- Quiet at the golf course fence
- Place through guests and the doorbell
- A recall on a long line at Meyer Park

Champions specifics
Mature trees, deed restrictions, Meyer Park and the Cypresswood patios.
Champions has the shade the newer suburbs lack, so the greenbelts stay walkable an hour or two longer in summer than the open trails elsewhere, and summer go-home sessions use them in the morning. The deed restrictions and associations enforce barking and leash rules, and the quiet cue and the structured walk are in every Champions stay. Meyer Park is where the recall gets proofed on a long line, the Cypresswood patios are the settle exam, and the Willowbrook stores are the neutrality environment that is already on our route. Cypress Creek runs along the neighborhood and the leash stays on near the water.
- Shaded greenbelts in the summer mornings
- Quiet cue and structured walk for the restrictions
- Meyer Park for the recall
- Leashed near Cypress Creek

Asked and answered
Questions people ask about this.
How far is Champions from the training home?
About 15 to 25 minutes to Cypress via 1960 and 290 or Cutten and Grant outside rush hour. Nearly every Champions family drops off and picks up themselves; the transport is there if you want the handover on your greenbelt.
Our old dog never needed training. Why does the new one?
Because it is a different dog with a different temperament, and a fifteen-year gap is a long time. The stay installs the structure the old dog carried naturally, and the go-home session teaches the family the handling for this dog.
Can you help a dog that barks through the golf course fence?
Yes. No free access to the fence during play hours, place with duration as the carts go by, a quiet cue and a real walk to replace the fence patrol are built in a Gold or Platinum stay and kept at home.
Do you pick up in Champions and Willowbrook?
Yes, for $250 both trips including the first lesson in your home, and VIP includes it. Most Champions families skip it because the drive is so short.
