Board and train, Spring
Board and train in Spring: Klein and Gleannloch, 20 minutes away
Spring is close enough to Cypress that the field trips at the end of a stay can happen on the Spring Creek Greenway and at Meyer Park, which means a Spring dog comes home already proofed on the trail it walks. That is the advantage of being twenty minutes away.

The stay, from Spring
Twenty minutes to drop off, and the Greenway on the field-trip route.
Spring families treat a stay the way Cypress families do: a short drive to drop off, a short drive back for the go-home session, and follow-up lessons booked at home without a long trip for our trainers. The $250 transport is there for the family that wants the handover in their own living room, and VIP includes it. Day one is the crate and the house, day two onward is the program, and the updates arrive Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Because Spring is close, the last field trips for a Spring dog can use the Greenway, Meyer Park and the stores on 249, so the dog is proofed on its own ground before the handover.

What a Spring dog learns
The Greenway walk, the school-bus greeting, the window and the pool.
The Spring dog is a family dog in a house that empties at seven and fills at three: it jumps on the kids at the door, pulls toward the dogs on the Greenway, barks from the window at deliveries and treats the community pool as a right. The shepherds and Dobermans in the cul-de-sacs add guarding at the door. Gold installs place, the calm greeting, the structured walk and impulse control in two weeks; Platinum adds the behavior work for the guarders and the lungers, a recall on a long line for the Greenway's deer and squirrels, field trips and unlimited lessons afterwards.
The go-home session teaches the children the rules as well as the adults, because the bus stop is where the dog's manners are tested daily.
- A loose leash on the Greenway past dogs and bikes
- A calm greeting when the bus stops
- Quiet at the window during delivery hours
- A wait at the pool gate and a recall out of the water

Spring specifics
The Greenway's water and wildlife, the HOA and the summer.
The Spring Creek Greenway is shaded and full of deer, squirrels and, in the warm months, alligators and snakes at the creek, so a Spring dog's recall is built on a long line and the leash stays on near the water; that work happens in Platinum and the Greenway is where it is tested. The Klein and Gleannloch sections enforce barking and leash rules. Summer keeps the outdoor work early and late and the stores on 249 carry the afternoons; the pool rule, a wait at the gate, is built at the lake near the training home and transferred to your pool at the handover.
- Recall built for the Greenway's wildlife
- Leashed near Spring Creek, always
- Quiet cue and structured walk for the HOA
- Pool manners transferred at the handover

Asked and answered
Questions people ask about this.
How far is Spring from the training home?
About 20 to 30 minutes to Cypress via 2920 and 249 or Louetta and Grand Parkway outside rush hour. Most Spring families drop off and pick up themselves; the $250 transport is there if you want the go-home session at home.
Do you train on the Spring Creek Greenway?
Yes, for the last field trips of a Spring dog's stay and for go-home sessions and lessons afterwards, on a leash and with the recall on a long line near the creek. It is one of the best shaded trails in north Houston.
Which program for a shepherd that guards the front door?
Platinum. Three weeks of structure, door work with real deliveries and guests, neutrality to strangers at a distance, and unlimited lessons afterwards so every family member runs the door the same way.
Can the go-home session include my kids?
Yes, and it should. The children learn the greeting rule and the place command with the dog, because they are the ones who come through the door at three and the ones the dog jumps on.
