Board and train, Grand Central Park
Board and train in Grand Central Park: for Grand Central Park and south Conroe
Grand Central Park is a new community in the pines south of Conroe, full of young families and the puppies that came with the house. Most of those puppies are adolescents now, and the stay is where an adolescent learns to walk the forest trails, leave the lake alone and settle at the door.

The stay, from Grand Central Park
I-45 to 99 to 290, or a pickup at the edge of the forest.
From Grand Central Park the training home is I-45 south to the Grand Parkway, west to 290, about 45 minutes outside rush hour. Families who drive drop off in the morning with the dog's food, vaccination records and any medication and return for the go-home session at the training home. Families who would rather not make the trip twice add the $250 transport, which brings our trainer to the door, includes a look at the house and the trail, and puts the handover back on your street. VIP includes it.
The dog's first day in the house is a settle. Every day after is training: place and the crate, the structured walk on the streets around the training home, the aisles of the hardware and pet stores along 290, and the lake for water manners and recall. Monday, Wednesday and Friday you get pictures and clips. The go-home session teaches the handling, and for a young family that means the kids too.

What a Grand Central Park dog practices
The forest trail, the lake, the new front door and the adolescent brain.
An adolescent dog in Grand Central Park has a forest trail out the back and a lake around the corner, and it wants both at full speed. The structured walk past other dogs, strollers and bikes is built on quiet streets near the training home and proofed in public on Platinum field trips, and the wait at the lake edge with a recall out of the water is built on a long line at the lake near the training home. Deer use the greenbelts, and the leave-it is part of the same work.
The front door of a new house is close to the sidewalk, so the threshold rule gets built early and proofed with deliveries and visitors. The City of Conroe and Montgomery County publish the park and animal rules for the area, and the HOA covers the community's own trails; check them before planning any off-leash walk. Summer training runs early and late from May through September with the aisles in between, and the AVMA's heat page explains the pavement rule.
- A loose leash on the forest trail
- A wait at the lake and a recall out
- A threshold rule at a new front door
- Leave-it for the deer in the greenbelt
Which program
Gold for the adolescent, Platinum for the one that lunges, VIP for the forest off leash.
Gold, two weeks at $2,500, is the Grand Central Park stay for most families: sit, place, the structured walk, door boundaries, no jumping and impulse control for a friendly adolescent, with a go-home session and one more lesson. Platinum, three weeks at $3,750, is for the dog that has started barking and lunging at other dogs on the trail, guarding the door or panicking when the family leaves, with behavior modification, field trips and unlimited private lessons afterward.
VIP costs $10,000 for six weeks and produces a dog reliable off leash where the rules allow it, with the Mini-Educator, transport, an in-home handover and unlimited in-home lessons all included. For a puppy under four months, the Puppy Development Bundle of four private sessions, $550 in Cypress or $750 at your home, is the right first step, and a stay can follow when the dog is older. Our team matches the dog to the program on the consultation call.
- Gold: the friendly adolescent
- Platinum: trail reactivity, door guarding, separation panic
- Puppy bundle for a puppy under four months, VIP for off leash
Prices and the deposit
Grand Central Park pays the published price, with the ride optional.
Gold is $2,500, Platinum $3,750, VIP $10,000, the same in Conroe as in Cypress. A $250 deposit reserves the dates and is credited when you pay the balance. Transport is $250 for pickup and return with the first lesson at your home, a choice at 45 minutes that many Grand Central Park families make, and VIP includes it. Hurricane season, June 1 to November 30, reaches the forest as wind and rain rather than surge, and our team follows the National Weather Service through every late-summer stay.

Asked and answered
Questions people ask about this.
How far is Grand Central Park from the training home?
About 45 minutes outside rush hour: I-45 south to 99, west to 290, then a few minutes into Cypress. Families who prefer not to drive it twice add the $250 transport, which also moves the first lesson and the go-home session to their own street.
Our puppy is five months old and wild. Is it too young for a stay?
No. Under four months the Puppy Development Bundle is the better start, but at five months an adolescent that pulls, jumps and bolts through the door is ready for Gold, and the go-home session teaches a young family the handling from the beginning. Tell our team the age on the consultation call.
Do you pick up in Grand Central Park?
Yes. The $250 door-to-door transport covers Grand Central Park and south Conroe, includes the first lesson at your home on delivery day, and puts the go-home session on your own street. VIP includes it; Gold and Platinum families add it if they would rather not drive.
Can you teach water manners for the lakes and Lake Conroe?
Yes. The wait at the water's edge and the recall out of it are built on a long line at the lake near the training home, and calm on a dock is part of the same work for a family that boats. The go-home session shows you how to keep it at your own lake.
Is the training home a kennel with runs?
No. Your dog lives in our trainer's house in Cypress alongside a limited number of other dogs, sleeps in a crate, eats on place and goes out every day to stores, sidewalks and the lake. An adolescent from a new neighborhood learns manners in a home because that is where it will use them.
