Puppy bundle · Fulshear
Puppy training in Fulshear: new streets, new neighbors, calm from the start
Fulshear is new streets and new neighbors: families moving into Cross Creek Ranch the same month their puppy arrives, and acreage families west of town whose puppy has a fence line and a horse to learn about. Both need the same thing in the first four months, a calm puppy that greets well, and the bundle is built for it.

The four sessions
Four sessions at your Fulshear home, with the greeting rule in the first one.
The first session is in the puppy's first week, and in Fulshear it starts with the greeting rule, because a new street means a new neighbor at the door every evening. The puppy learns a sit before any hello, the household learns to ask visitors to wait for four paws on the ground, and the crate, the potty spot and the marker word are set the same day. On acreage the session starts outside with the fence line and the barn.
Sessions two through four run about a week apart: sit, the place bed and the nipping plan; then recall on a long line in the yard or the pasture, a stay with duration and the first leash walk on your street once the vet has cleared the ground; then a review at the town center or on a Cross Creek trail, and the plan for the adolescent months.
Session one: the greeting rule, crate placement, the potty spot, the marker word and handling.
Session two: sit, the place bed, the nipping plan, and recall between rooms.
Session three: recall on a long line outside, a short stay, and the first street walk after clearance.
Session four: a review at the town center or on a trail, and the plan for months four to twelve.

Raising a Fulshear puppy
New neighbors from your arms, and a summer that starts in May.
Fulshear's socialization list writes itself, because everyone is new and everyone wants to meet the puppy. Until your veterinarian confirms the vaccine series is complete, usually around sixteen weeks, that meeting happens with the puppy in your arms or on a mat on your porch, not on the sidewalk: the town center patios from under the table, the pet and feed stores on FM 1093 and 1463 from a cart, and the Cross Creek Ranch trails from a bench where the puppy watches strollers, bikes and dogs pass. The trails and the community dog park come after clearance, the dog park last of all.
From May through September the puppy's outings run before nine and after seven, with potty trips on shaded grass and the sidewalk tested with the back of your hand. New sod grows fire ants after every rain, so check the potty spot daily, and the mosquitoes off Flewellen Creek make heartworm prevention a first-vet-visit conversation.
- Every new neighbor met with the puppy in your arms and a sit before the hello
- The town center patios from a mat, the FM 1093 and 1463 stores from a cart
- The Cross Creek trails from a bench until clearance, then on a long line; the dog park last
- Before nine and after seven from May through September; fire ants checked in the new sod
The housing
Two Fulshears: a Cross Creek Ranch fence and an acreage fence line.
In Cross Creek Ranch and the newer sections along 1463 the puppy has a small fenced yard, an HOA with rules about barking and fences, a pool in many backyards and a lake or creek trail at the end of the street. The plan is a gate at the pool before day one, the fence walked for the gap under the gate, and a puppy that learns quiet at the window early, because the neighbors are close.
West of town the puppy has acreage, a horse or two, a fence built for livestock and deer at the tree line at dusk. The plan is different: a long line outside until the recall is real, the horses met on a leash and at a distance, and no puppy out alone at dawn or dusk while the coyotes are working. The bundle's recall is the skill that eventually opens the property up.
- Cross Creek Ranch: a pool gate before day one, the fence walked, quiet at the window
- Acreage: a long line outside until the recall is real, the horses met on a leash
- No dawn or dusk outings alone on acreage while the coyotes are working
Bundle or a stay
The bundle now; Gold or Platinum with transport if the adolescent needs a reset.
Board and train waits until about four to five months, when a puppy can hold structure through a full day. Then Gold, two weeks at $2,500, covers the manners set, and Platinum, three weeks at $3,750, covers the acreage dog that needs the structured heel, behavior work and field trips.
Fulshear is 35 to 45 minutes from Cypress, so families split between dropping off and taking the $250 transport, which brings the go-home session to your home or your land. VIP at $10,000 includes transport and an in-home handover, and it is the program for the family that wants off-leash reliability across acreage.
Prices
Fulshear bundle prices, at your place or ours.
The bundle is $750 at your Fulshear home and $550 at our Cypress training home, about 35 to 45 minutes away outside rush hour. Cross Creek Ranch families with an ordinary yard often make the drive; acreage families take the in-home version, because the fence line and the barn are the plan.
Past four months the work continues as private lessons, $160 in Cypress or $220 at your Fulshear home. A later stay is reserved with a $250 deposit and can include the $250 transport.

Asked and answered
Questions people ask about this.
Everyone on our new street wants to meet the puppy. Is that good or bad?
Good, if it is managed. A puppy that meets twenty calm adults in its first month is a confident dog; a puppy that gets mobbed and jumps on all of them is an adolescent problem. Keep the puppy in your arms or on a mat, ask each neighbor to wait for a sit, and keep every meeting short. That is session one's greeting rule.
When can the puppy use the Cross Creek Ranch dog park?
After the vaccine series is complete and confirmed by your veterinarian, usually around sixteen weeks, and after it has a recall, which the bundle builds on a long line. A dog park is unknown adult dogs and no control over who approaches, which is a poor first impression for a small puppy. The trails and the patios come first.
We have horses. Does the bundle handle that?
Yes, on a leash and from a distance where the puppy stays calm, starting in session two. The goal is a puppy that finds horses boring rather than one that chases or hides. Loose in the barn or the paddock is a decision for an older dog with a proven recall, and a Platinum or VIP stay later is where that recall gets proofed.
Is the $550 Cypress option realistic from Fulshear?
It is about 35 to 45 minutes each way outside rush hour via 99 and 290, four times, which plenty of Cross Creek Ranch families manage between naps. If the plan depends on your yard, your pool or your acreage, the $750 in-home version earns the difference because the trainer sees the actual place.
