Conroe to the training home is a real but reasonable drive, so families split: some drop off in Cypress and return for the go-home session, others add the $250 transport so we collect the dog, return it and run the handover at their own house and dock. For a lake dog the dock handover is worth the money, because water manners hold only where they are practiced.
During the stay the dog lives in the house with our trainers, and you get photo and video updates every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

The lake, the deer and the new neighbors.
The lake dog is a Lab or golden that owns the water and ignores its name near it. The acreage dog is a shepherd or cattle dog on a wooded lot that chases deer, barks at coyotes all night and treats the new neighbor's truck as a threat. The Grand Central Park dog is a doodle that pulls on the trails and cannot settle at the patios downtown. Conroe has all three, often in the same street.
Gold covers the manners. Platinum covers water manners on a long line, the recall around wildlife and the guarding, with field trips and unlimited lessons afterwards. VIP is the finished off-leash dog, reliable on the dock and at the tree line with the Mini-Educator taught to you on your own land.

Lessons and go-home sessions in Conroe use your own dock and street first, then the waterfront parks for neutrality to boats and people, the Grand Central Park trails for loose-leash work and recall on a long line, and the downtown patios around Candy Cane Park for the settle. The pet and feed stores on I-45 and 105 are the neutrality environment. During the stay the same skills are built around Cypress and at the lake near the training home.
Lake Conroe has alligators and the wooded lots have snakes and coyotes, so the leash stays on near water and at dusk until the recall is proven, and leave-it is worked hard.

Programs and prices
Platinum for the lake dog, VIP for the one you want loose on the dock.
Platinum runs $3,750 for three weeks and covers water manners, the recall and the guarding with unlimited lessons afterwards; with transport it is $4,000 door to door. VIP runs $10,000 for six weeks and produces complete off-leash reliability with the transport and the dock handover built in. Gold runs $2,500 for two weeks of manners, and lessons at your house are $220.
