Board and train · Real price
How much is a 2 week board and train?
Two weeks is the length most people search for first, so here is exactly what the money buys, what it does not, and when a family is better off with one week or three.

The short version
Two thousand five hundred dollars buys fourteen days of structure and the lesson that makes it stick.
Gold is built for the dog whose problems are manners rather than temperament: he pulls to the mailbox, bolts through the front door, jumps on your mother-in-law and has never held a place for longer than a treat lasts. Over two weeks in a real house those habits are replaced with a sit that holds, a place that holds, a leash that stays slack and a door that opens only on your word.
The number covers more than the days. Your dog eats, sleeps and trains in our trainer's home rather than a run, you get photo and video every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and the stay ends with a go-home session where you learn the handling. One follow-up lesson is included, and the support continues for the life of the dog.
- Sit and stay, place and stay, down on request
- Loose leash walking and door boundaries
- Jumping, pulling and impulse control
- Go-home session, one extra lesson, lifelong support
The reasoning
The price reflects one trainer, a handful of dogs and a day that never stops being training.
A kennel-style program can price by the run because dogs sit in runs most of the day. A home-based stay cannot, because the trainer is the product. Every meal, walk, doorway and delivery driver is a rep, and only a limited number of dogs can live that way in one house at once. That is the cost you are paying for, and it is also why the results tend to be different.
Compare it with the alternatives honestly. Fourteen private lessons at $160 each would cost more and spread the work across three months of your evenings. The one-week Silver program at $1,500 builds a foundation but does not have time to proof it. Two weeks is the shortest stay in which a habit can be replaced and then tested in public before the dog comes home.
- Priced per dog, per program, with nothing hidden in add-ons
- Transport optional at $250, which includes the first lesson in your home
- No separate charge for the go-home session or the follow-up lesson
For your dog
Gold fits most adults, misses tiny puppies and is too short for aggression.
A puppy under four months is not a Gold candidate at any price. That age needs the Puppy Development Bundle, four private sessions for $550 in Cypress or $750 in your home, because the crate, potty and handling routines belong with the family. From about four to five months a puppy can start a stay, and many of the adolescent dogs from Towne Lake and Bridgeland that arrive at six to twelve months are ideal Gold dogs.
For a dog that lunges at other dogs on the sidewalk, guards the couch or has snapped at a visitor, two weeks is not enough, and we will say so on the phone consultation. Those dogs need the three-week Platinum program at $3,750, which adds behavior modification, field trips and unlimited private lessons. Buying Gold for an aggression case saves money on paper and costs it in results.
Houston reality
Where you live changes the logistics, not the price.
Drop-off and the go-home session happen at the training home in Cypress, off US-290. From Katy or Tomball that is about 25 to 35 minutes outside rush hour, from The Woodlands or Spring about 35 to 45, and from the Heights or Memorial about 30 to 45. If two trips do not fit your week, the $250 transport service collects your dog at your door, returns him and turns the go-home session into a lesson in your own living room.
The two weeks run the same in every season, with the outdoor slots moving to early morning and evening from May to September and the store work on Fry Road filling the hot hours. If your dates fall inside hurricane season, June 1 to November 30, we take an evacuation contact at drop-off and keep your dog's records with him.
Call for the free phone consultation and describe the habits you want changed.
Reserve your two weeks with the $250 deposit.
Pack food, records and a flat collar, then drop off in Cypress or book transport.

Attend the go-home session and take the leash yourself.
Use the included follow-up lesson within the first month at home.
The two-week options
Three programs run two weeks at $2,500, and only one of them is obedience.
Free-Style is a two-week program for a dog who already has basic obedience and needs engagement: paw, spin, twirl, weave and center. Agility is the same length and price for the energetic dog who needs a job, with weave poles, jumps, an A-frame, tunnels and a seesaw. Both are enrichment for a trained dog, not a substitute for Gold, and our team will steer you to the right one.
| Program | Price | Built for |
|---|---|---|
| Gold Board & Train | $2,500 | Obedience and manners in a dog without aggression |
| Free-Style Board & Train | $2,500 | Tricks and engagement for a dog with basic obedience |
| Agility Board & Train | $2,500 | Weave poles, jumps and tunnels for a high-energy trained dog |

Asked and answered
Questions people ask about this.
Is $2,500 the full price for two weeks?
Yes, for the Gold program itself. The go-home session, the extra lesson and lifelong support are included. The only optional add-on is transport, $250 door-to-door, which also includes the first lesson in your home. Food comes from you, and a $250 deposit is what holds the dates when you book.
Is two weeks enough for leash pulling?
For a dog whose pulling is excitement and habit, two weeks is usually enough to install a loose leash and the door manners that go with it, then test it on sidewalks and in stores. If the pulling is aimed at other dogs and comes with barking or lunging, that is reactivity, and Platinum is the right program.
Why is Free-Style the same price as Gold?
Both are two weeks of daily one-on-one work in the same home, and the trainer's time is what the price reflects. The difference is what that time builds: Gold replaces bad habits with obedience, while Free-Style teaches tricks and engagement to a dog who already listens. Ask our team which your dog needs first.
Can I pay more for a longer or shorter stay?
Yes. Silver is one week at $1,500 for a foundation or refresher, Platinum is three weeks at $3,750 with behavior modification and unlimited lessons, and VIP is six weeks at $10,000 for off-leash and service-dog-level reliability. The phone consultation is where our team matches the length to the dog rather than to the calendar.
