In-home dog training in Missouri City: Sienna to Quail Valley, in your home
Missouri City is family neighborhoods: Sienna and Riverstone with their pools and playgrounds, the streets of Quail Valley, sidewalks that fill up after school. The dog in that house has to be calm around children every day, and the place to teach that is the house.

At your house
The lesson happens around your children, because that is where the dog has to be good.
Our trainer arrives, the dog stays loose, and the family carries on: kids through the door from school, someone at the pool gate, a stroller in the entry. We watch how the dog greets, whether it herds, what it does with a toddler's snack, and how each adult responds. Then you tell us what you have tried. Fifteen minutes of that sets the order of the lesson.
The working part is on the leash, with our trainer first. The greeting is rebuilt as four paws on the floor before anyone touches the dog, with a child as the practice guest once the dog can do it for an adult. Place is taught on a bed in the room where the kids play, first for a minute, then through a whole episode of whatever they are watching. The walk goes out your front door and down your sidewalk, past the playground if one is on your route.
The plan you keep is written for every adult in the house, and for the kids in one line each: no petting a jumping dog, no running past a dog on its place. Between lessons our team answers the phone from six in the morning until nine at night, every day, and the next visit picks up wherever the plan slipped.
Watch the dog with the household as it really runs, kids included.
Rebuild the front-door greeting with an adult, then with a child, four paws down every time.
Teach place in the family room, then hold it while the children move around it.
Walk your street with our trainer on the leash first, then you.
Write the plan, one line per family member, and set the next date.
What we see
The three calls we get from Sienna, Riverstone and Quail Valley.
The first is the Lab or golden that knocks a small child down at the door, every day, because the greeting has never been taught and the kids reward it by squealing. The second is the doodle or shepherd that herds children around the pool, nipping at heels when they run, which parents call playing right up until a heel gets caught. The third is the sidewalk: a big young dog pulling the whole family toward the playground and every other dog on the block.
The first and third are manners and respond quickly to lessons. The second sits on a line. Herding without teeth is impulse control, and lessons handle it. A dog that has growled over a toy or guarded a couch from a visiting child needs daily structure and a behavior plan, which is a Platinum stay with an in-person consultation first, and we say so on the call.
- A retriever that flattens a toddler at the front door
- Herding and heel-nipping when the kids run around the pool
- Pulling the family toward the playground and every dog on the sidewalk
- A growl over a toy or a couch, which is a stay, not a lesson
Lessons or a stay
Honest fit at an hour's distance: lessons for manners, transport and a stay for the rest.
Missouri City to Cypress is about 50 to 60 minutes via the Grand Parkway or the Beltway outside rush hour, which changes the arithmetic. Four to six lessons at $220 are the right buy for a dog with some foundation whose problems are the door, the pool gate and the walk. For a dog that needs the foundation itself, or has growled, a stay does the daily reps and the $250 transport brings the go-home session to your house.
Gold is two weeks at $2,500 and installs place, the greeting, door manners and impulse control. Platinum is three weeks at $3,750, adds behavior modification and field trips, and comes with unlimited private lessons afterwards, so the in-home work still happens, once the dog can succeed at it. On the free consultation call our team tells you which, and they recommend the cheaper option whenever it will do the job.
- Lessons: the door, the pool and the sidewalk, with the family practicing daily
- Gold with transport: the whole foundation, handover at your house
- Platinum with transport: the dog that has growled or guarded
- VIP: transport, in-home handover and unlimited lessons included

Around Missouri City
The Sienna trails, Buffalo Run Park and the Highway 6 stores, after the house holds.
Later lessons leave the house. Your street comes first, then the Sienna or Riverstone trails for a loose leash past strollers and bikes, Buffalo Run Park for a long-line recall, and the stores on Highway 6 and Fort Bend Parkway for calm around carts. Playgrounds are the real Missouri City exam: a dog that holds a place beside one at four in the afternoon will hold it anywhere. The City of Missouri City's site has current park rules.
From May to September the sidewalks fail the hand test by mid-morning, so outdoor lesson time moves early or late and the afternoon goes to the store aisles. Sienna backs onto the Brazos, and coyotes are part of that edge, so recall work near the river stays on a long line in every season, whatever the dog's age.
Prices
Missouri City prices in one place.
In-home lessons are $220 each. The Puppy Development Bundle is four sessions of 45 to 60 minutes for a puppy under four months, $750 at your house; the $550 Cypress version exists, but the drive makes it rare from here. A Gold stay is $2,500, Platinum is $3,750 and VIP is $10,000 for six weeks with transport and the in-home handover included. For Gold or Platinum, transport is $250 door to door with the first lesson at your home.

Asked and answered
Questions people ask about this.
Why not drive to Cypress for the $160 lesson?
You can, and some families do, but from Sienna or Quail Valley the round trip is close to two hours outside rush hour and longer inside it. The door greeting and the pool gate only exist at your house, so the $220 house call teaches them where they happen and saves you the drive.
Can the kids join the lesson?
Yes, and for the greeting and the place work we want them there, once the dog can do the exercise for an adult. Children are the strongest distraction a family dog has, and a rule the kids do not know is a rule the dog will break. Each child gets one line in the written plan that they can actually follow.
Our shepherd growled at a visiting child. Is a lesson enough?
No, and we will say so on the call. A growl over a toy or a space is guarding, and it needs daily structure and a behavior plan built over three weeks of Platinum, with an in-person consultation first and unlimited lessons afterwards at your house. Lessons alone would leave the family managing a risk instead of fixing it.
How does the go-home session work if we use the transport?
Our trainer brings the dog back to your house at the end of the stay and runs the handover there: the greeting at your door, place while the kids are home, the walk on your sidewalk and the pool gate. Every adult in the house learns the handling. It comes with the $250 transport and with VIP.
