The stay, from Clear Lake
An hour each way, so the transport does the driving and the handover is at your door.
Clear Lake is about 60 minutes from the training home outside rush hour, by Beltway 8 or I-45, and longer when the city is moving, so the $250 transport is the sensible choice here. Our trainer collects the dog at your door, runs the first lesson there so you see the leash and the wait before the dog leaves, and the drive to Cypress is the dog's first exercise in settling in a vehicle. The first day at the training home is quiet on purpose.
From day two the work is daily in the training home and on the sidewalks, in the stores and at the lake near it, where the water manners for a bay dog start. Photos and video come on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The stay ends at your door for transport families and every VIP graduate, with the go-home session on your dock or at Clear Lake Park, and at the training home for any family that chose to drive.

The stay builds a wait at the water's edge and a recall out of it at the lake near the training home on a long line, a stop at distance that beats a flock lifting off, and the structured walk on the Cypress sidewalks with wind, wheels and other dogs. At home it learns place and a settle that holds through a long commute and a late return.
On the go-home visit the skills move to your water: Clear Lake Park on NASA Parkway, a Harris County Precinct 2 park on the lake, for the wait and the recall with boats and birds; Bay Area Park for a walk with other dogs at a distance; the Kemah boardwalk area for crowds and a settle. Check the precinct's site for current rules and hours before you take the dog yourself, and remember that the bay and the bayous are alligator water.

VIP at $10,000 is the program that fits Clear Lake's distance best: six weeks, complete off-leash reliability, the Mini-Educator included and introduced properly, transport home and the handover at your door with unlimited in-home lessons afterwards. Platinum at $3,750 is the fit for the dog that chases birds into the water, guards the dock or panics in a storm; three weeks buys behavior modification, field trips and unlimited private lessons afterwards, and with the $250 transport it still starts and ends at your door.
Gold at $2,500 covers the friendly dock dog that pulls, jumps and cannot sit still in a boat: two weeks of sit and stay, place, loose leash, door boundaries, jumping and impulse control, with a go-home session, one added lesson and lifelong support. Silver at $1,500 is the one-week refresher for a graduate before the summer on the water.

Prices and the deposit
The published prices, and $250 that turns an hour each way into a handover at your door.
Gold is two weeks for $2,500, Platinum three weeks for $3,750 and VIP six weeks for $10,000. The $250 reservation deposit reserves the stay and is deducted from the total. Transport is $250 for pickup and return with the first lesson at your home, and from Clear Lake it replaces two hour-long drives each way with a handover on your own dock; VIP includes it. Families who would rather drive can drop off at the training home from 6am to 9pm daily and return for the go-home session there.
Private lessons afterwards are $160 at the training home or $220 at your house; Platinum and VIP include them without limit, and from Clear Lake the at-home version is the one families actually use. Clear Lake specifics
Storm season on the bay, wind on the dock and a summer that never cools off.
Clear Lake sits where hurricane season is not abstract: June 1 to November 30, with the bay on one side and the bayous on the other. The storm plan for the dog is agreed at booking, including who moves it and when, and Ready Harris and the National Weather Service Houston/Galveston office are the sources we point families to. Wind on the dock makes a wait harder, so it is built in calm water first and proofed with distractions later. From May to September outdoor sessions run early and late with store aisles at midday, and heartworm prevention runs all year by the water.
