Virtual session pricing
How much does a virtual dog training session cost?
Price is usually the first question, and it should be. A virtual session is the lowest-cost way to get a professional's eyes on your specific dog, and knowing exactly what the $99 covers helps you decide whether it is the right first step.

One price
Our virtual session is $99, and the same price applies to every consultation type.
There is no tier for harder problems and no surcharge for a puppy or a second dog. Whether you want help with a dog that jumps on every visitor or you are still deciding between a retriever and a terrier, the session is $99, one-on-one, by phone or Zoom.
The table shows what each consultation type is for, so you can pick the one that matches your question when you request a time.
| Consultation type | What it is for | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Training and behavior | Everyday behavior challenges and training questions with your current dog | $99 |
| New dog | Choosing a breed that fits your lifestyle, household and expectations before you bring a dog home | $99 |
| Introducing a new dog | Planning the first greeting and a smooth transition when a dog joins the household | $99 |
| Puppy and ownership guidance | Routines, structure, boundaries and good habits from the beginning | $99 |
What it buys
The $99 buys a trainer's judgment applied to your dog, not a generic course.
Free videos and articles can teach a sit. What they cannot do is look at your hallway, your dog's posture when the neighbor's dog walks by, and the way you hold the leash, then tell you which of the hundred tips online actually applies. That judgment is what you are paying for.
Our head trainer brings more than 16 years of hands-on training and over 900 dogs trained, with specialties in anxiety, reactivity and aggression. The approach is balanced: reward what you want, set fair and consistent boundaries for what you do not, and choose the right tool for the dog in front of you.
- One-on-one time with our head trainer
- Advice built around your house, schedule and dog
- A clear first step instead of a pile of tips
- An honest answer if virtual is not enough
Compared with in-person
A virtual session costs less than in-person help because no one travels and no one handles the dog.
In-person training costs more because a trainer's time, travel and hands-on work are part of the price. For reference, our own in-person private lessons near Houston are $160 at the Cypress facility and $220 in your home. A virtual session at $99 trades the hands-on part for coaching, which is the right trade for most manners and planning questions.
It is also a cheap way to avoid an expensive mistake. Spending $99 before you adopt a high-drive working breed into a small apartment, or before you bring a puppy home to a fragile older dog, can save months of frustration that no amount of later training fully undoes.
Getting value
You get the most for $99 by arriving with one clear problem and a short video.
A session goes further when the trainer spends it on solutions instead of on piecing together what happened. A little preparation does that.
- Name the one problem or decision that matters most right now.
- Record a 30 to 60 second clip of the behavior if it is safe to do so.
- Note your dog's age, breed or mix, and how long it has been with you.
- List what you have already tried and how long you tried each thing.
- Have treats, the leash and any equipment you use within reach.
When to skip it
It is not money well spent if your dog needs hands-on work or a vet first.
If your dog has bitten someone or is a danger to other dogs, put the $99 toward finding an in-person professional who can build a safe plan with the dog present. A call can still help you understand the problem, but it should not be the whole plan.
The same goes for sudden changes. A dog that becomes irritable, stops eating or starts having accidents may be in pain or unwell, and a veterinarian is the right first stop. Once health is cleared, a virtual session is a sensible next step.
- Bite history: look for in-person help
- A danger to other dogs: in-person help
- A sudden behavior change: veterinarian first
- Everyday manners or a decision: a virtual session fits

Virtual consultation with our head trainer
One-on-one guidance for behavior, a new dog, introductions or a new puppy.
Is the $99 virtual session charged per session or per month?
Per session. Each virtual consultation is $99, one-on-one, by phone or Zoom. There is no subscription. Many owners book a single session to get a plan, practice it, and only book again if the plan stalls or a new question comes up.
Does the price change for a puppy or a new dog consultation?
No. All four consultation types cost the same $99: training and behavior, new dog and breed choice, introducing a new dog to the family, and general puppy and ownership guidance. Pick the type that matches your main question when you request the session.
Is the free phone consultation the same as the $99 virtual session?
No. The free phone call is a no-cost, no-obligation conversation with our team about our programs and whether one fits. The $99 virtual session is personalized coaching with our head trainer on your dog's specific behavior or your decision, by phone or Zoom.
Do I need to buy equipment before a virtual session?
No. Use what you already have: your usual leash, collar or harness, treats and a bed or mat. The trainer will look at your current equipment and tell you if something should change. Buying new gear before the session often means buying the wrong thing.
Is a $99 virtual session cheaper than in-person training?
Yes, in most cases. In-person sessions include the trainer's travel and hands-on time. Our own in-person private lessons near Houston are $160 at our facility and $220 in-home, while the virtual session is $99 and available anywhere in the US.
